Powerful Class D amplifiers.
Four amplifier channels, each delivering 125 watts at 4 ohms, provide rich, dynamic sound. Large rooms, demanding speakers, high volume levels: the M2 drives it all effortlessly and stays clear and controlled even at full volume.
Two zones. One device.
Living room and terrace, dining area and outdoor space: the M2 powers two independent zones, each with its own source and its own volume. Where you’d normally need two amplifiers, one compact device is enough. That saves space and keeps the installation tidy. And if a large room needs more sound, simply run all four speakers together in a single zone.

The M2 replaces the SC311m and offers significantly more for the same price: 125 watts instead of 30 watts per channel, and two zones instead of one. You connect external devices as usual via an analogue/digital input and an analogue/digital output. We’ve left out the FM/DAB+ tuner, as it’s barely used anymore in the age of internet radio. You can still access thousands of stations via the built-in internet radio.
Every source you need.
Both zones can play the same music or something different in each, exactly as you like. Choose from AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, internet radio and streaming services for commercial use. New services are added automatically via software update. Play music from your smartphone, tablet or Mac directly via AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth. Connect external sources to the AUX input, such as a modern turntable or your TV, either as an analogue or optical digital (TOSLINK) connection.
trivum Matrix: share sources without delay.
With trivum Matrix, a technology developed in-house by trivum, you connect several devices directly via a USB-C cable. Their DSPs then work together directly: each device accesses the others’ sources as if they were built in. This happens without going via the network, and therefore without the usual network latency. Each connection transmits four stereo signals digitally and without loss.
For example: an SC344m, with its many built-in sources (4 × analogue, 4 × radio, 4x streaming), can be connected to up to four additional Matrix devices such as the M2. All zones in the group use the same sources. Grouped zones run in sync directly via the DSP, instead of having to synchronise over the network.
Silent. Even in the living room.
The M2 operates without a fan, so it can stand visibly in your living space. This is made possible by its high efficiency: the Class D amplifier stages and the 500-watt power supply (600 watts briefly) have a very high efficiency rating and therefore generate very little heat. Internal heat sinks dissipate any remaining heat.
The M2 adapts to your installation. In a 19-inch rack, the rack-mounting kit lets you fit two M2 units side by side; the wall-mounting kit lets it sit flat against the wall; and on a shelf, it simply stands freely. If it’s already warm in the rack and air can barely circulate, the M2 is also available with internal fan cooling, either from the factory or as a retrofit.
