Bamar, the Italian leader in high‑performance sail furling systems, has launched a new feeder accessory designed specifically for its BMG range of furling foils (BMG30R/40R & 50R), bringing greater precision and protection to sail hoisting operations. 

This new feeder is now available as an essential complement to the BMG30R-50R foil kits used with popular furling units such as the GFM C1, C2, C3, and FT2 models. It aims to meet the needs of sailors who demand both high performance and enhanced safety—whether cruising or competing at the highest levels. 

Designed for Precision and Protection

The feeder helps guide the sail luff smoothly during hoisting, significantly reducing the risk of snags or damage to the luff tape—a common concern when handling powerful sails under load. Its introduction reflects Bamar’s commitment to performance and usability, particularly in demanding conditions often encountered in racing environments.

• Premium Construction: The feeder is fully CNC‑machined from solid aluminium and finished with hardcote anodising to withstand harsh marine conditions and deliver long‑lasting durability. 
• Easy Installation: It mounts to the hoisting foil using a practical Velcro strap, making it simple to attach without tools. 
• Plug & Play: The accessory requires no structural modifications to the furling foil. Once hoisting is completed, it can be quickly removed so regular furling operations can resume.

While the GFM and FT series furling units are designed primarily for cruising, the versatility of the double groove system means many owners also take their boats into competitive sailing.
