Bamar, the Italian leader in high‑performance sail furling systems, has launched a new feeder accessory 80115531 designed specifically for its BMG40R furling foils, bringing greater precision and protection to sail hoisting operations. 

This new feeder is now available as an essential complement to the BMG40R foil kits used with popular furling units such as the GFM C2, C3, and FT2 models. It aims to meet the needs of sailors who demand both high performance and enhanced safety—whether cruising or competing at the highest levels.

The feeder helps guide the sail luff smoothly during hoisting, significantly reducing the risk of snags or damage to the luff tape—a common concern when handling powerful sails under load. Its introduction reflects Bamar’s commitment to performance and usability, particularly in demanding conditions often encountered in racing environments.

  • Premium Construction: The feeder is fully CNC‑machined from solid aluminium and finished with hardcote anodising to withstand harsh marine conditions and deliver long‑lasting durability. 
  • Easy Installation: It mounts to the hoisting foil using a practical Velcro strap, making it simple to attach without tools. 
  • Plug & Play: The accessory requires no structural modifications to the furling foil. Once hoisting is completed, it can be quickly removed so regular furling operations can resume.
