Dalcnet Expands Smart Lighting Portfolio With MINI-1CV LED Dimmer Series

Dalcnet has strengthened its compact lighting control lineup with the MINI-1CV series, a single-channel constant-voltage LED dimmer designed for professional and architectural lighting installations. The product family includes the standard MINI-1CV, the DALI-enabled MINI-1CV-DALI, and the wireless MINI-1CV-CASAMBI variant.

The MINI-1CV series targets installers and lighting designers seeking compact form factors without sacrificing output power. Despite measuring only 44 × 57 × 25 mm, the device supports up to 576W at 48V DC with a maximum output current of 12A under optimal thermal conditions.

A key feature of the MINI-1CV platform is its flexible dimming control architecture. The standard model supports local control through push-buttons, 0–10V or 1–10V analog signals, and 10kΩ potentiometers. Meanwhile, the MINI-1CV-DALI version adds DALI protocol support for integration into larger building automation systems, while the CASAMBI edition enables wireless Bluetooth mesh control. 

The dimmers use PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology with adjustable frequencies ranging from 300Hz to 4000Hz, helping reduce visible flicker in demanding environments such as retail, hospitality, and professional filming applications. Dalcnet also includes configurable dimming curves — logarithmic, linear, and quadratic — allowing installers to fine-tune lighting behavior for different use cases. 

Configuration is handled through the company’s LightApp mobile application, available for both iOS and Android devices. Using NFC communication, installers can adjust PWM frequency, brightness limits, fade times, and create lighting scenarios directly from a smartphone. 

Safety and reliability remain central to the MINI-1CV design. The dimmers include over-voltage, under-voltage, reverse polarity, and fuse protection systems, while complying with standards including EN 61347-1, EN 61347-2-13, and EN 55015 for LED control gear and EMC performance. 

Industry distributors have positioned the MINI-1CV family as a versatile solution for modern LED strip and monochrome lighting projects. Spanish electronics publication Convertronic highlighted the system’s NFC-based configuration workflow and multi-platform compatibility as key advantages for installers working across commercial and residential environments.
