Vimar receives another prestigious acknowledgement

Vimar Wins Compasso d’Oro International Award at Expo Osaka 2025

On September 5th at Expo Osaka 2025, Vimar received the prestigious Compasso d’Oro International Award for its Eikon Exé with Tondo control, an innovative wiring series that blends advanced technology with refined Italian design.

The award, founded in 1954 by Giò Ponti and overseen by the ADI, is one of the world’s most respected design honours. With this recognition, Eikon Exé joins Italy’s national heritage collection, acknowledged for its “exceptional historical and artistic interest.”

Praised for its curved aesthetics, elegant finishes, and smart home integration, the Tondo control was chosen among 20 winning projects that best interpret the Expo theme: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”

Celebrating its 80th anniversary, Vimar reaffirmed its commitment to creating connected, safe, and stylish living spaces that seamlessly merge design and technology.
