The major trading ports of the UK have supported the commercial vessel industry over the last two centuries. Strict codes of practice and legislation define the standards of the industry and naval architects push forward the boundaries of design, construction and equipment onboard.

IMP works with small and large commercial builders to improve safety and performance. Currently Gebo, Lopolight and Zwaardvis products are fitted on Pilot boats,Work boats, Patrol vessels, Naval vessels, Commercial ships and Tankers.

Glazing

Gebo glazing is manufactured to withstand extreme weather conditions. All Gebo products are Lloyds and CE certified for Ocean A. The custom window division has developed the Thermic and Light line sections and produce custom windscreens.Hatches and Portlights are standard supply with a number of builders due to their long lasting reliability and 100% watertightness.

Navigation lighting

Lopolight LED navigation lights are world recognised with full MCA approval. Made from anodised aluminium contruction and utilising the latest LED technology, the Lopolight range of LED navigational lighting offers: rugged contruction, vibration resistance, waterproof to IP68, superb bulb life (over 50,000 hours!), vastly reduced power consumption (upto 80% saving!) and are easy to install.

Seating and supports

Zwaardvis chairs and seat and table supports/accessories offer comfort for long periods at sea on either small commercial vessels and pilot houses or ships' bridges.
