Bow Shackles

Our drop forged ”Bow” Shackles are ”bowed”to offer an increased body width that provides a large surface contact area for spliced line and thimbles. These type 316 Stainless Steel shackles are all provided with a cross hole for safety wire.

Forged "D" Shackles

Schaefer’s drop Forged ”D” Shackles are made from type 316 Stainless Steel. Each shackle features a threaded pin with a drilled cross pin hole to accommodate safety wire.

Long "D" Shackles

Our Long ”D” Shackles offer the same great features of our forged ”D” shackles with extra-long usable lengths to access those hard to reach fittings on you boat.

Stamped "D" Shackles

Stamped from type 304 Stainless Steel, these lightweight shackles are provided with a stainless clevis pin and cotter ring.

Stamped Halyard Shackles

All Schaefer Stamped Halyard Shackles feature a captive design to prevent accidental pin loss. Smaller versions are spring loaded to provide a firm fit to keyway and indents to insure positive engagement.

Snap Shackles/Shackle Guards

Schaefer's Spinnaker Pole Sliders feature large rings to accomodate most plunger and latch type pole ends.

Twist Shackles

”Twist” shackle bodies are forged with a built-in twist that when mounted on bails or pad eyes, helps align the pin axis in relation to the matched block being used. Drop forged from type 316 Stainless Steel, each threaded pin has a cross hole for safety wire.

Investment Cast Halyard Shackles

Double threaded shackle pin design allows removal of the headboard with only one unthreading, yet prevents the pin from being accidentally withdrawn. Unique pin recess hold is cast into one of the jaws, allowing full headboard clearance when the pin is unthreaded. A second unthreading allows you to remove the pin entirely.
