Pole Ends

ULTRA PISTON

The "UPX" piston style fitting represents the cutting edge in pole end fitting technology. These high-tech composite polymer ends, designed for high strength, are about half the weight of their aluminum counterparts, offer high resistance to chafing and will not corrode. The Ultra Piston ends fit poles from 2" to 3 1/2" in diameter and are recommended for boats up to the low 40' range.

Ideal for use on Carbon Fiber poles, the pole and fitting combination of low weight and high strength components make for the ultimate in state-of-the-art spinnaker pole and whisker pole design.


A flag on the piston allows for easy attachment. Spectra¨ loops on top and bottom allow for attachment of topping lifts, downhauls and guys. The trip line is external.
Fits: deck chocks DC-2 and DC-GP-S and attaches to mast pad eye PE-3-SC and mast cars RC-125 and FC-125.
Attach ULTRA fittings to tube with machine screws only. (Note: Epoxy will not adhere and rivets will pull out.)

The "UTR" trigger style is identical to the "UXP" piston style end fitting with the added feature of an internal trigger which makes it ideal for inshore and offshore racing or cruising. These high-tech composite polymer ends, designed for high strength, are about half the weight of their aluminum counterparts, offer high resistance to chafing and will not corrode.
