Features
Designed to reef or furl the fully batterned mainsail, Profurl In-boom system allows full control of the mainsail from the safety of the cockpit.
Raising the mainsail is made easy; just turn the boat into the wind, release the furling line and hoist.
Reefing or Furling is just as easy; simply control the amount of release on the halyard and pull the furling line.
The Profurl in-boom reefing system is designed to use long battens allowing the same performance as a fully battened mainsail with a normal or increased roach: the mainsail can perform even better than a normal mainsail because the gap between the mast and the sail creates a "slot" effect commonly used in aerodynamic applications.
