IMP is in many ways unique. It is a truely family based UK company and values teamwork, personal and straight forward advice, trust in our products, good service and commitment to building relationships with our customers and suppliers.
IMP was founded in 1984 by Pamela and Roger Ralston. Now, with well over 20 years of experience in the marine and coachbuilding industries, IMP has a wealth of knowledge and expertise. IMP prides itself on taking the time to listen to customers and responding with energy and commitment to offer the best in product solutions.
Development and design innovation are driving forces in our specialist industries. To keep ahead with performance and style, we work closely with customers on new projects and with suppliers to move forward with prototypes and final designs.

IMP Announces Acquisition of Nauquip Ltd.
IMP is proud to announce that they have acquired Nauquip Ltd, UK and Ireland distributors of ANDERSEN Winches, SCHAEFER deck gear and reefing systems, FORESPAR products and TANK TENDER gauges. IMP will continue to distribute these brands in the future.
Trade Associations
As part of our commitment to the Leisure Marine Industry, IMP has been a member of the British Marine Federation for over 20 years. In addition to our membership IMP supports the federation by its continual participation at the UK boat shows.
